Hello newsletter! Thanks to everyone who has signed up to this newsletter in last month! Excited to have you here.

Over the next month I’ll be living at a friends flat in Tokyo while she stays at mine in Copenhagen. I think it’s the perfect opportunity to put in place a DIY artist residence.

Research Project: Study interdependence, communal living, and disability movements.

Art projects:

1. A series of dreamy prototypes and sketches using watercolors

2. A video (that might be divided up into 3 or 4 shorter videos)

3. A notebook that will be filled up with ideas, notes, and plans

Research topics:

Anarchism, ordinary utopic projects, interior design for autism, trauma, and allergies/asthma, liberation, abolition, post-capitalism, relationship anarchy, autotheory, infrastructures, living together beyond the nuclear family.

Field Trips in Tokyo:

1. Mingei: The Art of Everyday Things at the Setagaya Art Museum

2. Visit Palestine at Irregular Rhythm Asylum

3. Focus on Pleats (Issey Miyake) at 21_21 Design Insight

4. Afro-Mingei (Theaster Gates) at Mori Art Museum
